Rush Golf Club
[Co. Dublin]
Rush Golf Club, founded in 1943 is a links course with panoramic views of Lambay Island and Dublin Bay. The links of Rush Golf Course is located in the middle of some of the most famous and best links territory in the entire golfing world, let alone Ireland. Ivan Morris, in his book 'Ireland's Best 9-Hole Golf Courses' described Rush Golf Club as one of the Top Three 9-Hole Links in Ireland. He also rated the 5th hole as 'well worth the time and effort of crisscrossing the Country to play, describing it as 'having a feel of Royal Lytham & St. Anne's about it'. With a new Clubhouse built in 2002 complementing the natural contours of the course, the bar and restaurant offer a friendly and comfortable setting with views of the 1st and 9th holes. Rush is one of the few clubs that has been fortunate enough to keep its old world charm; and as a links, it is playable all year round.
