Oughterard Golf Club

Oughterard Golf Club is an 18 Hole parkland course lined with mature native Irish trees, including Oak, Hazel and Birch. The course is best described as a Parklands course with traditional Limestone walls featuring throughout the course. It is an excellent test of golf, with numerous water features and sand bunkers that are strategically placed to protect the par of the course.
Facilities at Oughterard include a club bar with magnificent views of the course, the club restaurant which opens daily with an extensive menu and a Pro-shop stocked with leading brands and clubs for rental, in addition to trolleys and buggies. A full club repair service such as club re-gripping and club re-shafting is offered also.
Practice facilities include:
- A short game practice facility behind the 13th hole for members and visitors
- A practice bunker and chipping green facility adjacent to the 13th tee box
- Putting Green facility adjacent to the clubhouse car park
